When your lost you can go through all kinds of emotions and fears. Here are a few techniques you can use to battle your fear and stay calm. If you feel afraid try talking to your waiting tree. Tell jokes, sing or whistle while you wait. Animals aren't a worry for you. They're more afraid of you than you are of them. Answer a noise with a noise, bang two rocks together, start singing really loud. If there is an animal it will run away after hearing your noises. If the noise happens to be a searcher they'll here your noises. Your safer sitting in one spot in the woods in the middle of the night than you are walking the city street at night. When it gets dark, stay calm. The things you here at night can be explained easily during daylight. Two rubbing trees make an eerie sound. The small feeding rabbit at night makes a lot of noise hopping of dry leaves. Keep in mind that your parents will not be mad at you for being lost. Its not your fault. Sometimes kids are so afraid that their Mommy and Daddy might be mad at them for being lost that the kids actually hide from searchers. Mommy's and Daddy's are never mad. All you need to do is prepare for lots of kisses and hugs. |
